Runway Reviews
(NEW YORK) Thakoon
Merely months after unleashing colored furs on his Fall 2009 runway, Thakoon Panichgul showed a resort collection dominated by dreamy pastels. The designer focused on a customer whose schedule is dictated by the glamorous things in life--no wonder these 24 looks paid such a loyal tribute.
Ports 1961
Tia Cibani masterfully treads the line between masculin and feminin, and for Resort 2010, she gave signature silhouettes of the 1920s a boyishness they haven't seen before. A winter white story, governed by staples like wide-leg cuffed trousers, underscored the house's understanding of truly seasonless piece.
