Marie Claire, Reorganized
(NEW YORK) Nina Garcia arrived at Marie Claire as fashion director last September, and she promply set out to rethink the front-of-book fashion sections as well as the well features. Approximately a month after the news of Katie Connor's appointment as fashion features editor, the magazine has announced a reorganization of sorts in its fashion department, which was implemented before Labor Day. Nina Sterghiou, formerly accessories director, has been named market director at the title. She replaces Kathryn Floyd, a 4-year veteran of the title who has left the magazine. Paula Knight, formerly market editor, has also left Marie Claire. Christine Kistner, formerly fashion assistant, has been named associate market editor. Zanna Roberts remains senior fashion editor at the title. The changes are effective immediately.
