J. Crew's Summery Shop
(NEW YORK) Just last month, J.Crew opened its J.Crew at-the-beach, a seaside-centric shop at the Lumber Yard in Malibu. Tomorrow, the retailer will bring the beachy concept to the east coast when they reopen their East Hampton outpost as a revamped J.Crew at-the-beach. After settling in for several years at 20 Newton Lane, the store has moved to the bigger location (1,000 square feet to 5,000 square feet!) and will set up shop at 14 Main Street in the Long Island town. Like its Malibu counterpart, the East Hampton J.Crew at-the-beach will offer the best of the brand’s collection, including cashmere, Italian-made shoes and bags, signature embellished tees, special pieces from the jewelry collection and favorite items from the new J.Crew Collection.
In case the store's particular brand of summery staples like seersucker and sundresses aren't enough, to kick off the holiday weekend, the J.Crew team has planned some sweet treats for shoppers. During the East Hampton Memorial Day parade on Monday, a “Now Serving Summer” ice cream cart will be set up outside, serving the masses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
