Where Will YOU Be This Weekend?
(NEW YORK) As another work week winds to a close, the chic set is finalizing their plans for the unofficial kick-off of summer: Memorial Day weekend. The Daily caught up with a few friends to see where their jet-setting plans would take them...
Lisa Salzer: I'm heading out to Napa Valley for a good ole' bachelorette party/wine tour with all my best girlfriends from college.
Lisa Airan: I am going to Paris for the weekend to share some time with my friends and then on to the Tuscan coast back to the villa where I was married to my husband...très romantic!
Lisa Mayock: We're in Buenos Aires for the holiday. We've been thrifting, antiquing, and designing our spring 10 collection here!
Andrew Saffir: Memorial Day weekend we divide our time between the South of France for the fin of the Cannes Film Festival and the fin of an all-American East Hampton holiday weekend. While I'd like to say we will be going to an endless array of barbecues, clambakes and Summer kick-off parties, we're more likely to be asleep on the beach nursing our exhaustion from eleven consecutive 3 a.m. nights of rosé and Bellini-soaked parties and trop de Croisette carrousing.
Joey Jalleo: I am going to take advantage of the empty city and go on a summer shopping spree in preparation for my trip to Costa Rica next month, as well as finish reading The Beautiful Fall: Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent and Glorious Excess in 1970s Paris. The story is BEYOND!
Rebecca Minkoff: My plans are to stay in the city because I love how quiet and empty it is. My whole family is coming into town, so we’re planning a long bike ride over to Brooklyn, then a picnic in DUMBO, and also getting some sun in Central Park! I got engaged this time last year, so we are celebrating!
Fresh on the heels of its announcement that Roland Mouret would be designing a 25-piece collection for the brand, Banana Republic has brought on another household name designer, but...
The Victoria's Secret show is crossing the pond. The 2014 show will be hosted in London this year instead of New York. Supermodels Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima made the announcement...
