Versace Gets Arty…Again
(NEW YORK) The Whitney Museum of American Art’s Gala and Studio Party is an event not to be missed by both the art crowds and the fashion folk, not least because of the gorgeous gowns sure to be in attendance. This year, Versace’s brand of chic will once again rule the red carpet, as the company has signed on to sponsor the event again.
Where last year, Patrick Dempsey came along as Donatella’s special guest, this year’s A-list co-chairman will be Penelope Cruz (who has proven how stunning she is in the designer’s creations). Cruz, Donatella Versace, and Liz Swig will host the approximately 500 guests as they imbibe in the Robert J. Hurst Family Gallery, dine in the 3rd Floor Gallery, and dance the night away at the Studio Party, hosted by the Artists Council, in the Lower Gallery.
