Camilla’s Max Moment
(NEW YORK) Max and Lubov Azria may be attending the Whitney Museum of American Art’s annual art party for the third year in a row as BCBGMAXAZRIA hosts yet again, but which chic young ingénue will be sharing the hosting duties this year? Kate Bosworth co-hosted in 2007, Rachel Bilson took the torch in 2008, and for the museum’s 2009 fête on Wednesday, June 17 at Skylight Studios, Camilla Belle will share the spotlight with the duo.
This year, following last year’s successful online auction, every piece in the auction will be available for bidding online, through individual bids and the “Buy Now” option. Work by leading contemporary artist John Baldessari, Matthew Brannon, E.V. Day, Isca Greenfield-Sanders, Corin Hewitt, Jim Hodges, Ryan Humphrey, Terence Koh, Andrew Kuo, Elad Lassry, Louise Lawler, Marilyn Minter, Tom Otterness, and James Welling will be available, along with work by four current students of the Whitney’s Independent Study Program.
