MET SCOOP, PART DEUX! The Costume Institute Gala's Guest List, Revealed!

(NEW YORK) The Costume Institute Gala is merely five days away, and the elusive guest list keeps trickling in, even after The Daily's initial list published last Friday.

Host Marc Jacobs has secured another A-lister for his table--Anne Hathaway. The Oscar-nominated actress is also expected to wear Cartier ice. And Karl Lagerfeld has confirmed two more stars for the Chanel table, Kirsten Dunst and Edita Vilkeviciute. Dunst and Diane Kruger have also opted to wear Chanel Fine Jewelry. Helena Christensen will walk up the stairs with Zac Posen, while current Broadway and Watchmen darling Carla Gugino will showcase the designs of Kenneth Cole. Eva Mendes and Brooke Shields are rumored to have already picked out the Francisco Costa-designed gowns they are expected to wear at the Calvin Klein table.

Versace isn't buying a table this year, although Donatella is flying in to attend the party with Cindy CrawfordDomenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana won’t be in New York on Monday, but the brand will have a red-carpet presence thanks to Eva HerzigovaRosario Dawson will attend with Diane von Furstenberg, while Karolina Kurkova will accompany Richard Chai. Hilary Rhoda, who will join Elizabeth Hurley at the Estée Lauder table, is rumored to be wearing a custom gown conceived by ThakoonTyra Banks, meanwhile, will arrive with Mark Badgley and James Mischka. Host Justin Timberlake will wear a bespoke William Rast tuxedo; he will attend with girlfriend Jessica Biel.

And there's more good news for LVMH. Marion Cotillard is flying to Gotham to join Dior and John Galliano. She’s likely to wear bling by her favorite jewelry house, Chopard. Interestingly, fellow LVMH brands Celine and Fendi are not actively participating in this year’s festivities. PPR has offered up a few players: Stella McCartney will attend the event with Liv Tyler. Samantha Boardman Rosen chose a Gucci dress for the event. Marjorie Gubelmann is said to wear a gown by Oscar de la Renta. Kate Beckinsale, Marisa Tomei, Paulina Porizkova, Molly Sims and Amanda Peet have all confirmed their seats as well.

Christopher Bailey is also staying at home this year, although Burberry will be outfitting two of England's most influential models: Twiggy and Agyness Deyn. And James Rousseau should be wearing Bailey’s designs as well as he dines with his date, Kate Bosworth, who will shine in Stella McCartney. Bar Rafaeli was invited by Vogue and is still deciding on a dress, but Joy Bryant has opted for Rachel Roy.

As for the noteworthy absences? Kimora Lee Simmons will be celebrating her birthday on Monday, and given that she is due to give birth in a month, she has opted to stay home in California. (Sorry, André!) L'Wren Scott and Mick Jagger will not attend--same with Katherine Heigl and Miley Cyrus. Inexplicably, even Vogue's bestselling scribe Plum Sykes won't join her colleagues. Rihanna’s appearance is not yet confirmed. Even some of Vogue's favorite designers (and Fashion Fund finalists!) like Erin Fetherson are not slated to attend. Vena Cava designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai's attendance was just confirmed. Ultimate model muse Christy Turlington has RSVPed non because she will be out of the country the night of the event.

As for the most shocking no-show? Jennifer Aniston. The actress was approached to attend as a guest of Vogue, and initially agreed to do so, but backed out after learning that her committment would be time-consuming and extremely involved. "She didn't need the nuisance," says our insider. Aniston will still hit New York to unveil her new film Management the following evening at a May 5 Cinema Society premiere.

Two more tables have also been purchased---Sir Phillip Green will host one for Topshop, while Linda Wells will preside over a group of Allure favorites like Leslie Mann and Pushing Daisies star Anna Friel. As for the evening's most interesting seating arrangements? The Nordstrom table. The two buzziest young American designers, Jason Wu and Alexander Wang, are sitting with Pete Nordstrom...along with a few celebs, of course. As previously reported, Wu has scored Jessica Alba as his date, and the starlet is bringing a companion of her own in the form of hubby Cash Warren. Wang will squire Carine Roitfeld's favorite face Lara Stone. Keeping with this year's focus on economic sensitivity, all guests (including well-documented red meat aficionado Anna Wintour) are expected to dine on a main course consisting of poulet. That's chicken, darlings.
