Picking up POSH
(NEW YORK) Shoppers, take your marks! Lighthouse International is preparing for its annual POSH Designer Sale, one of the biggest and oldest (nearly 40 years old!) sample sales in New York. Featuring donations from celebrities, chic social types, and designers themselves, the sale offers thousands of pieces at seriously discounted prices, the sale of which benefits Lighthouse, the non-profit organization that empowers people with vision loss. The sale starts May 14, and The Daily got a sneak peek at some of the must-haves--think new Roger Vivier pumps for $125, Kim Cattrall's Hervé Léger dress for $100, a Carolina Herrera leather coat for $300, and, for the man in your life, a new Brooks Brothers tie for $35. As with any event of the chicest caliber, the sale will be kicked off with a preview cocktail party on May 13 (don’t worry if you can’t make it; items get restocked daily!), and tickets can be purchased at poshsale.org.
