(NEW YORK) While the Costume Institute Gala is certainly a heavyweight charity event, it's merely a warm-up for Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli. Calvin Klein Collection has just signed on to sponsor the Free Arts NYC 10th Annual Art Auction and Benefit on May 11. The live auction will feature one-of-a-kind 20” x 24” Polaroid photographs by artists such as Chris Burden, Mary Heilmann, Gary Hume, Barbara Kruger, James Nares, Yoko Ono, and Christopher Wool.
Costa and Zucchelli join the organization's board members Amy Sacco and Mary Alice Stephenson to co-chair the event alongside Glenda Bailey and David Granger. The event committee is composed of Angie Harmon, Amanda Hearst, Iman, Michelle Monaghan, Lindsay Price, Aby Rosen and Samantha Boardman, Rachel Roy, Brooke Shields, Molly Sims, Liv Tyler, Vanessa von Bismark, Karolina Kurkova, Hilary Rhoda and Yvonne Force Villareal. Naturally, a few celebrity guests will be confirmed closer to the event date. Shall we expect Eva Mendes or Leighton Meester--or both?
