Opening in midtown Manhattan in November 2004, the hallmark of the Dream Hotel brand is its strategic alliances with like-minded industry leaders of food, nightlife and design. Enhancing every need of its clientel, Dream Hotel recently teamed up with Alcatel-Lucent, reinventing the way guests access the world inside the hotel and beyond through bedside video phone intercoms, interactive in-room LCD displays and internet protocol television. Due to the immense success of the first hotel, Vikram Chatwal Hotels have expanded the Dream Hotel portfolio to include a new incarnation of the high-design lifestyle hotel – Dream Bangkok, which opened in 2006 and the upcoming Dream South Beach in Fall 2009 and Dream Downtown, which returns to the Dream brand’s hometown, opening in Manhattan’s Meat Packing district in 2010. Beyond the expansion of the Dream Hotel brand, Vikram Chatwal Hotels will be the first to bring a seven-star hotel experience to Manhattan with the opening of The Chatwal in the historic Lamb’s Club building in Summer 2009.
