Fond Farewell
(NEW YORK) Kym Canter has left her position as creative director at J.Mendel after eight years at the company. During her tenure, the firm grew from an exclusive fur house into an international fashion brand with a serious presence on the red carpet. Canter also authored Star von Bunny, A Model Tale, which was published by Harper Collins in December 2008. J.Mendel is said to be eliminating the position entirely, so that all creative direction will be managed directly by the brand's designer and CEO Gilles Mendel.
