(NEW YORK) Diesel will open its largest store ever next week by staging an elaborate dinner theater in its store windows overlooking Fifth Avenue. The space will look like an ordinary apartment during the day--but every night, dinner is served at 8. Real-life New Yorkers--from club kids Richie Rich and Kenny Kenny to girls-about-town like Arden Wohl--will dine in the "apartment," in full view of passers-by. On the menu? Meals catered by Le Cirque and Cipriani, of course. The three-story store will offer on-site tailoring and same-day alterations, and extra services to make VIP "Power Shoppers" more comfortable. Alas, once the store opens, no dinner will be provided.
