A Mix of Hard and Soft
(NEW YORK) Jeweler Meredith Kahn will use some of her never-before-seen pieces in Catherine Holstein's runway show tomorrow. “This season I was really inspired by industrial imagery and shapes," said Kahn. "I started off using concrete as a shade for the preliminary color palette, and with that in mind, I shot a splash of color in by using military greens and neon yellow for a bit of irony." She says that Holstein's clothes beautifully contradict her jewelry with "fun proportions and soft, voluminous shapes this season, lending itself to [my] harder edge pieces."
