(NEW YORK) Following launches in Japan and Korea, Nylon is kicking off its third international edition with the inaugural February issue of Nylon Mexico. The book will be published 10 times per year and distributed in key cities like Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. Of the first issue, Nylon editor in chief Marvin Scott Jarrett said, “This is only chapter one of what is going to be a huge success and movement that will take the DNA of Nylon and infuse it with the soul and culture of Mexico.” Naturally, the premier issue had a New York theme; cover girl Leighton Meester celebrated the mag with a Mexico City bash, DJ’ed by Benji Madden.
