Their hair tucked beneath wide-brimmed hats with close-cut crowns, his models became untouchable, inaccessible, imposing illustrations come to life that made the ethereal moonchild of last season seem like the girl next door. Navy, saffron, and tomato played off black and white, making long coats and terrace-ready pantsuits pop like color-saturated film stock come to life.|page| Not that the whimsy or humor was gone—sequined skirts and an oversized bow on the shoulder of a marine-green evening gown showed that Marc will still be Marc.
