Prada - Milan Spring 2010
(MILAN) "This was very much for the high and low contrast within the mysterious imagination of corridors," explained Miuccia Prada while describing her spring effort after the show. The two-sided wall corridor served as the set for the intimate collection, and Lil Mama was the unlikely soundtrack--yes, that Lip Gloss song. In fact, lip-gloss was shining on the models, girls walking in the show seemed to be thrilled doing it, and everyone else seemed elated too. Why shouldn't they be? Prada presented a uniquely upbeat collection full of beachy prints, sparkling chandelier numbers, white briefs, and knee length shorts. If fashion needed an original vitamin jolt, Prada delivered it.
