Tibi - New York Spring 2010
(NEW YORK) The fashion flock may love their clothes in black, but Tibi’s Amy Smilovic is trying to lighten them up for spring. With hardly a look in noir, Smilovic instead focused on crayola-bright shades, from poppy to aqua to peach, orange, and lemon. For contrast’s sake, navy made a few appearances, but all in all, the bright collection was successful. Tibi’s brand of easy separates (this time, with more than a few slip dresses) had modern, chic elements, like the boyfriend blazer and pegged trousers, making it one that’s sure to please on the runway or in real life.
