(PARIS) We’re pretty sure any other Vogue but Carine Roitfeld’s wouldn’t celebrate their 90th anniversary with S&M-inspired masks, a handful of half-naked supers, and other finer things in life. Indeed, French Vogue’s Bal Masqué at the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo was a grand affair bringing Marc Jacobs out of his studio, younger designers like Prabal Gurung out of the city, and inspiring half of chic Paris to finally visit a costume store. There was a lot more black than we expected (thanks, of course, to the vague Eyes Wide Shut theme) but we still came out of the bash with plenty of awards to give away.
