Refinery Throws Down

(NEW YORK) A girl could ruin her fave Charlotte Olympias or Louboutins trekking into MePa after dark. But chicsters showed up in throngs last night to fete Refinery29. Held at the Double Seven, the intimate setting quickly filled up as guests trickled in from shows and après dinner drinks. Louise Roe arrived early with a rather dashing young man in tow, and as she waited to check her coat, Glamour's newly anointed fashion editor-at-large gabbed about her whirlwind month, which includes an upcoming jaunt to L.A. “It’s Oscar season!” Roe exclaimed.

Libations were flowing generously, as Belvedere whipped up the “strawberry pepper fix," a spicy concoction that packed a punch. Solange Knowles, rocking covetable Alexander Wang shoes and fab hair, spun throwback nineties to the crowd's blatant delight. Elettra Wiedemann and BF James Marshall cuddled by the alligator-embossed leather bar for a bit upon arriving on the early side; meanwhile, Becka Diamond and Leandre Medine tweeted at each other across the room.  Also on the premises: the likes of Hannah Bronfman, NAHM's Alexandria Hilfiger, and the well-dressed Refinery 29 team (bien sur) with their posses in tow.

In other goss, Medine brought the (gasp!) fiancé along for the night, which inspired a few comments in the crowd along the lines of “The Man Repeller is with a guy who looks like an i-banker." Hmm. Finance and fashion have found their perfect marriage, perhaps?
