New King of the Winter Ball
(NEW YORK) What better way to get a little winter pick-me-up than a ball? New York Junior League will host their annual Winter Ball Saturday, February 27th, at the Plaza Hotel, and André Leon Talley will preside over the black-tie fête as Master of Ceremonies. On top of his new hosting title, Talley will add "judge" to his growing repertoire joining Tyra Banks on America's Next Top Model. The "Winter Palace" themed event will consist of a cocktail reception, a silent and live auction, an awards presentation for NYJL volunteers, a mouth-watering buffet dinner, and of course, plenty of dancing. Live auction participants will bid on items such as a shoe-shopping spree at Saks, a three-night getaway to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, and a coveted Yankees package with Legends Suite seating and dining. All proceeds will support NYJL. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.NYJL.org.
