(NEW YORK) Bye-bye New York Fashion Week, bonjour Kors Collaborations! Following his Spring 2013 show, the designer launched his quarterly web series, Kors Collaborations, at his Madison Avenue flagship store in which he partners with both musicians and artists on his website, Destination Kors. The first bold-faced name in the lineup? Photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank, who snapped and styled the shopable e-book, Claiborne on Kors, featuring singer Jessi Adele, interior designer Asia Baker, Amanda Hearst, model Michele Ouellet, and more decked out in Kors’ fall 2012 collection. "When I first saw Claiborne’s book, American Beauty, I immediately thought it was the modern answer to all the Slim Aarons’ photographs I loved when I was growing up," Kors told The Daily.  "What could be a better way to kick off our collaborations than to work with everything I want in a woman? She’s talented, smart, chic…"

As for Kors favorite types of femmes, along the lines of Swanson Frank, additional party attendees in the vein of Kors' parfait woman included Camilla Belle and Olivia Munn. Both starlets donned the designer's dresses and sipped chilled bubbly at the bash. "Michael and I really aim to celebrate women who are following their dreams, living big lives, juggling careers, and making interesting things," Swanson Frank told The Daily.
