(NEW YORK) Dancing in the moonlight? Not quite! In lieu of moonlight, Saturday night was all about thunder, lightning, and pouring rain, but that didn’t come between the Hamptons glitterati and a good time at the 13th annual Love Heals fundraiser for the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education in Sagaponack.

On hosting duty for the haute shindig: Charlotte Ronson, Hilary Rhoda, Andrew Saffir, and Daniel Benedict, all of whom found time to mingle with guests, including the likes of Rebecca Minkoff, Nicole Trunfio, Peter Davis, Stephanie Hirsch, Richard Johnson, Dini von Mueffling, Chris Wragge, and Scott Lipps. The only hint of sunshine on the Luna Farm turf were the neon orange sunglasses worn by buff bartenders serving cocktails. Also cheery? An oversized cake with tiers upon tiers of cupcakes.

Despite the svelte figures on the premises, the high caloric BBQ buffet got devoured, including spare ribs, hamburgers, vegetable kebabs, and Carolina pulled pork. Then, it was quickly back in action, literally, as DJ Kiss’ music got everyone on the floor, heels be damned.

Other diversions included a silent auction filled with Theodora & Callum scarves, NYFW tickets to Charlotte Ronson's show, designer handbags, and more. And if you didn’t make Patrick McMullan’s photo op, there was an alternative route sponsored by Patron for getting your own picture-perfect moment. And plenty of Patron tequila to go around, too!

The evening ended with rain-drenched but awesome swag bags filled with goodies, like a gift certificate to Georgetown Cupcake's Soho outpost, Pop Chips, a tape measure for the wannabe handy Hamptonite, and a T-shirt from Scoop. Despite the light ambiance, the story behind the soiree wasn't lost; kudos to pals  Stefani Greenfield, Dini von Mueffling, and Victoria Leacock Hoffman for always remembering their friend, Alison Gertz, with a bash that's always memorable.
