(NEW YORK) Lights, camera, tequila—on Monday night, the Cinema Society along with Bally and DeLeón set up one seriously killer soirée for the new Matthew McConaughey and Gina Gershon film, Killer Joe.  The film’s stars and director William Friedkin came out to catch the flick at the Tribeca Grand Hotel along with a cohort of celebs eager to see another hit McConaughey movie.

Guests included Alex Karpobsky (another Girls sighting!) Russell Simons, John Stamos, Tiki Barber, Tony Danza, Camila Alves and, randomly yet marvellously, Roseanne Barr, who graciously posed for photogs while enjoying popcorn and a glass of wine. The flick left the audience laughing and squirming in their seats, but by the end of the film's utterly shocking ending, a bit of tequila was in order. (It was national tequila day, after all.)

Quickly hopping into the closest available car to avoid the rain, guests maddashed to the after party held at Amy Sacco's haute new No.8 club. Partygoers including Rachel Roy, Alan Cumming, and Courtney Love chatted in white leather booths. A Bally-clad Gershon posed for potogs with McConaughey, who fashioned a 3 piece BOSS Selection suit. Stars and starlets chatted the night away, guzzling down some delectable DeLeón cocktails and superb appetizers before the night ended. And like any night in the concrete jungle, it was off to bed—but at any rate, not a bad way to spend a Monday night.
