J.Crew Sees Red
(NEW YORK) The Heart Truth’s Red Dress collection fashion show has involved such haute participants in the past as Donna Karan, BCBG, and Swarovski—but this season, J.Crew’s getting into the mix as well. The runway show, which takes place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 11 in the Tent at Bryant Park, will raise awareness of heart disease in women, with ladies like Heidi Klum, Estelle, Mamie Gummer, Kristin Chenoweth, Jewel, Rose McGowan, Kimora Lee, and Kim Kardashian wearing looks by Oscar de la Renta, John Galliano, Marchesa, Zac Posen, Rachel Roy, Ohne Titel, and J.Crew Collection—the brand’s upscale line. Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts will be sporting J.Crew’s scarlet gown. To celebrate the brand's part in the tradition, it has created a custom red Maptote of Bryant Park--a nice souvenir for when Fashion Week moves to Lincoln Center, non?
