(NEW YORK) Ten elite Australian designers took time out from their hectic pre-NYFW schedules to gather for an intimate breakfast courtesy of Fashion Palette New York. Mangia! First up, bloggers and designers mingled at Hotel Chantelle, indulging in cocktails courtesy of Brugal Rum; come afternoon, editors lunched and previewed the Australian designers' showcase. There was no calorie counting at Hotel Chantelle as the designers indulged in delicious mini cupcakes from Sherry Shortcakes.

While fueling up for long week ahead, designers and bloggers talked about (what else?) New York Fashion Week. On the designers' to-do lists while in town? Akira Isogawa looks forward to being a tourist in Manhattan: that means 6 a.m. walks around Central Park to some, apparently! Betty Tran is grateful for the a Starbucks on almost every corner (literally) to help her cope with the madness of NYFW. Not even having her freshly-sprayed tan being ruined by a sudden Manhattan rainstorm was able to faze stylish J’atine designer Jade Rodgrigues.

Say hi to the full flock of talented Aussies (also including Bruno Schiavi, Bettina Liano, Samantha Wills, and Nomiki Glynatsis) throughout the week should you cross paths with 'em, whether brunching or not!
