We're loving the colors!
I wanted the collection to infuse color, but I felt like color blocking was really the only way to do that now. You just can't do solids anymore.
You're already wearing a piece from Fall. How does it feel?
Great! Very feminine, actually.
How do you work with Max?
We're a great combo. Max is the visionary, and he's a merchandiser. I'm more detail oriented. It creates the perfect balance.
How does BCBG balance form and function?
With the recession, designers have to take a step back. It’s not just about our fantasies anymore--it’s about the consumer. You want to design something that they can wear and want to buy. Plus, now I can wear all the clothes...so I love it!
