(NEW YORK) Dear Daily,

We arrived in Paris on Monday, and for the next 5 days we didn’t leave the studio--except for a few hours every night. Before the show, we stopped by the venue to get our bearings. Even though we weren't finished with the styling, we booked 20 guys and completed a total of 30 looks. Our big music genius was Michel Gaubert; he put together an amazing mix based on our suggestion of Fever Ray. It kept us energized while the show came together.

The day of the show was intense, of course--we arrived at the studio to gather everything, brought it to the venue, set up the collection, prepped the models and then did a walk through. Guests showed up almost an hour early, and they just kept coming--which was nice, but the space was too small for the demand. Eventually, security had to put a temporary wall about 4 meters high in front of the entrance so we could start the show. At least 50 people couldn’t get through and I heard a lot of shouting, but we had no choice but to start. We were simply too full!

The music went on, the models walked, and all of a sudden I realized it: I had just done my first runway show. We sweated for 24 hours that day, but wow, did they go by so fast! It was surreal.

The next day we started appointments for sales and did some select press interviews and, thankfully, got a bit of rest. There was no time off to go out or explore during this trip, unfortunately. My team heads back to New York Wednesday morning to start fitting women’s. And there goes my summer....
