(NEW YORK) Richard Chai and Phillip Lim were among the early arrivals at Nur Khan and Harry Josh’s Spring Fling party on the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel on Saturday night--though even at the relatively early hour of 10 p.m., the direction the night was taking was clear. “It’s just so beautiful up here," said Lim. “But I think it’s going to get crazy later!” The designer was absolutely right; by 11, the gorgeous space was crowded with chicsters. Fashion regulars held court, like Lim, Chai, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Naomi Campbell, Rachel Zoe (who seems to never be without that sequined beret, non?), and models Karolina Kurkova and Gisele--who spent the evening lip-locked with Tom Brady. But surely owing to tonight’s Costume Institute Gala, Angeleno A-listers in town stopped by the fête as well; Kate Bosworth (avec beau James Rousseau), Josh Hartnett, Jessica Alba, Molly Sims, and Lake Bell all made appearances on the roof.

The triumvirate of Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, and Liv Tyler arrived ensemble and chatted all night. “I just landed from L.A.,” Tyler revealed. “My suitcase is still in the car. I’m here for my first fitting for my Stella dress”—for tonight’s event, that is—“But I came with my girlfriend, so we came up here first!” The actress was thrilled to be back in her hometown, and seemed to channel her own brand of spring fever. “I’m so happy to be in New York,” she gushed. “I haven’t been here in six months, and I’ve missed it so much. I’m so happy! I just keep looking around, and oh, it smells so good, the sky’s so beautiful, everybody’s having fun, there’s so much energy--and I’ve only been here for five hours!”
