(NEW YORK) The buzz over Chiara Clemente’s debut art film feature Our City Dreams may have hit New York a few months ago, but next week, it will cause a new sensation on the west coast. The story of five female artists—Ghada Amer, Kiki Smith, Marina Abramovic, Nancy Spero, and Swoon—pursuing their careers in New York will premiere at Laemmle’s Music Hall in Beverly Hills on May 8, and Clemente’s bold-named supporters are expected to include the likes of Kate Hudson, Dennis Hopper, Angelica Huston, Vincent Gallo, Ed Ruscha, Rosario Dawson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Dita Von Teese,  Mary Kate Olsen, Steve Martin, Kenny Scharf, Tatiana Von Furstenberg, Brett Ratner, k.d. Lang, and Owen Wilson. Immediately following the screening, the chic pack will move to the Thompson Hotel, where Clemente will be celebrated by an equally impressive party, hosted by Natalie Portman, Katy Rodriguez, Katherine Ross, Brigette Romanek and the film's producer, Tanya Selvaratnam.
