(NEW YORK) “Who isn’t a Beyoncé fan?” theorized Narciso Rodriguez as he entered the The Cinema Society's screening of Obsessed. “I think everyone in the world is!” If there were any holdouts at the MCM and Grey Goose-sponsored event, they were quickly won over after two hours of hair-pulling, chandelier-breaking, and verbal assaults galore by the entertainer and Ali Larter. “Yes, I put away my glamorous dresses and microphones and got down and dirty,” smiled Knowles. “But I think we had a lot of fun fighting and bruising. It was actually a real challenge to play a real woman with everyday issues.” But being furiously stalked by Larter wasn’t the most challenging part of the experience for Knowles at last night’s premiere. “I didn’t realize I would be standing in a short skirt for so long outside on the red carpet,” admitted the film’s star and executive producer. “Now, my hands are basically numb!”

Audience members like Jay-Z, Anika Noni Rose, Lorenzo Martone, Amanda Setton, Kim Kardashian, Gilles Bensimon, Elise Crombez, Bettina Zilkha, and Helen Schifter generously cheered during the slap-downs and one-liners. And how does one react in real life to the potentially fatal attractions?  “I would enter a witness protection program and move to a different state,” said one of the film stars, Chrisitne Lahti. “I would make sure there will be 24-hour police patrol outside of my house but most importantly, I would not be in the same town as the stalker ever again.”

The likes of Mamie Gummer, Bradley Cooper, Erin Wasson, Malcolm Carfrae, Chanel Iman, Lorraine Schwartz, Rachel Roy and Obsssed man in the middle Idris Elba moved to the after-party downtown where a dinner of fried chicken, fish, and garden potatoes awaited the guests. Beyoncé caught up with friends like Russell Simmons while Coco Rocha imagined her summer plans. “I really want to go to Ireland,” she sighed. “But not for step dancing; just sightseeing!” And Larter, who was possibly the best-dressed woman in the room, was also arguably the most feared thanks to her briallantly psychotic portrayal. “I guess it’s flattering that I gave people shivers tonight,” she laughed as she hugged her fiancé Hayes MacArthur. “But I’m opposite of this girl. In fact, I’m going to Paris next week to pick out wedding dresses at Ungaro with Estaban. I don’t think my character would ever get to that stage!”
