The Greenhouse Effect
(NEW YORK) Another day, another charitable fête at Donna Karan’s Urban Zen. On May 18, the Stephan Weiss Studio will play host to The Greenhouse Project and Wellness in the Schools’ Healthy Environment, Healthy Children event, hosted by Lauren Bacall, author Ann Brashares, and of course, Ms. Karan herself. The Saveur-sponsored benefit will support construction of an environmental science laboratory at PS 333 and develop health and wellness programs throughout New York City’s public schools. The sure to be eco-chic event promises food (Telepan is among the delicious caterers), fun, and a healthy dose of A-list glamour: Cameron Diaz is on the benefit committee.
