Dear Daily,

Whew! Last night was the party celebrating Paper’s 12th annual Beautiful People party that we hosted with H&M at Hiro Ballroom, and it was enough to wear a hipster out!! This month’s cover girl, Katy Perry, performed, which brought out all sorts of party animals. The cuties included Debbie Harry, Lady Sovereign, Jaslene Gonzales, singer Melanie Fiona, Kid Cuti, Erin Fetherston, Lydia Hearst, Douglas Friedman, Tia Cibani of Ports 1961, Richie Rich, Kat de Luna and 2009 BPs Kate Lanphear, Keegan Singh, Francesco Clark, DJ Cassidy, Bad Brilliance, Cushnie et Ochs and Aurel Schmidt.
 
The party outside was just as crowded as the party inside, with special co-hosts the NYPD! Fun!!! Inside, Katy’s show was delayed as her blue sparkle dress was in a car en route to the party! That gave Erin Fetherston time to visit with Katy in the dressing room. Katy sang a set that included "Hot and Cold," her new single, "Waking up in Vegas," the cover of the Outfield’s "I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love" and her smash hit, "I Kissed a Girl"--featuring some schtick Katy did with a giant blow up tube of lipstick. Mr. Mickey ended up doing a little smooching with someone wearing Cherry Chapstick and Katy’s song is right. It’s delicious!!!
