(NEW YORK) Dear Daily,

NYLON TURNS 10!!! As I am the longest standing staffer--9 yrs and  going strong--at the coolest magazine in the world, last night's celebration bash was a very exciting event for me! Of course, as always, first things first--I had to have the perfect look. Lucky for me, I had the chance to design my very own Guess by Marciano party dress for my monthly Factory Girl column—however, unlucky for me, the zipper got stuck last minute and I had NOTHING!! TOTAL PANIC! However, somehow I got my hands on the perfect sexy Hervé Léger by Max Azria bright blue bandage dress and paired it with a SICK bronze leather Burberry coat with a chic leopard LV clutch and it was game ON! But let's not forget hair and make-up. I was super psyched when Urban Decay offered up to come to the office for a little make-over session--finishing touches complete! I hopped to off with my publisher Jaclynn Jarrett and fashion director J Errico for a pre-party nibble, however, I quickly realized that bandage dresses and burgers don't mix so I opted for a celebratory glass of champagne instead.

At 9 p.m., we arrived at Thompson LES to find throngs of party goers and NYLON enthusiasts lining up around the block clamoring to get in. I managed to fight my way through the crowd to get myself in--past experiences have taught me that I absolutely cannot stay outside, or I'll be there all night long. Inside the party was bumping--the crowd electric, Stoli flowing freely, the MisShapes and Steve Aoki taking turns on the turn tables. Attendees included a top-notch mix of designers, models, socials, and of course celebs: Alexander Wang, Richie Rich, Shoshanna Gruss, Fabiola Beracasa, Jessica Stam, Harley Viera Newton, Lydia Hearst, Taylor Momsen, Ciara, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, Zack Braff and Eva Amuri…to name a few. Check out more photos at Nylonmag.com.

The party went into the wee hours after loads of fun, ending with a pink birthday cake celebration and cheers from editor in chief Marvin Scott Jarrett! As for me, around 12:30 a.m. I turned into a proverbial pumpkin and went home--famished! I stripped off my dress and traded up for sweats, a bowl of spaghetti and an inbox full of well wishes for NYLON's big bash!
