(NEW YORK) As one season ends, another begins. Fashion Weeks may be winding down, but charity galas are poised to dominate the New York social scene. The event begins with an intimate dinner for 200 in the Powerhouse, followed by a dessert and dancing portion attended by vers 700 in the Cullman Hall of the Universe. (DJ Harley Viera-Newton will provide the music.) Those in a shopping frame of mind will be able to bid on silent auction items including a corrugated cardboard aeronautical sculpture by Alex Uribe, tickets to next October's Stella McCartney show in Paris as well as an outfit by the designer, a Judith Ripka 18K yellow-gold lola ring and tickets to Fashion Week and more.

Expect the likes of Rita Ackerman, Hope Atherton, Sean Avery, Yigal Azrouel, Maggie Betts, Meredith Melling Burke, Barbara Bush, Dan Colen, Amy Greenspon, Shoshanna Gruss, Zani Gugelmann, Amanda Hearst, Bryn Kenney, Zoya and Damian Loeb, Rebekah and Colin McCabe, MobyJulia Restoin Roitfeld, Rachel Roy, Stella Schnabel, and Dani Stahl.
