(BAL HARBOUR) Seventh time’s a charm for Elie Tahari, who celebrated the opening of his Bal Harbour boutique (his seventh U.S. outpost!) last night with a gaggle of chicettes and some serious artwork. In collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art, the boutique was decorated with work by local artist Jose Alvarez, who stopped by the party to mingle with the Tahari-clad crowds, like host committee Tara Alhadeff, Jillian Jacobson-Altit, Claudia Brod, Rita Cabases, Laura Finvarb, Christina Getty-Maercks, Anna Laniado, Erin Newberg, Ivonne Ronderos, Maya Ezratti Rosenblum, Michelle Simkins Rubell, Marisa Toccin, and Allison Zhuk.

“I was so excited to see the most stylish and chic women in South Florida wearing Elie Tahari and I was honored to celebrate the official opening of the Elie Tahari Bal Harbour boutique with them,” said Tahari. “This store is actually our largest boutique outside of New York and the second to open in South Florida so I am thrilled to be able to bring the Elie Tahari lifestyle to more people in this community.” But the festivities weren’t the only perk of the night: a percentage of the evening’s sales went to benefit the Museum of Contemporary Art.
