(NEW YORK) Man-to-man love was in the air Friday night at the Tribeca Grand screening room, where a bona fide bro-down was taking place. The occasion? A Cinema Society screening, co-hosted by Details and Svedka, of I Love You, Man. “Paul [Rudd] and Jason [Segel], for sure, are in love with each other,” said co-star Rashida Jones, as she watched the boys embrace on the red carpet. “I’m pretty sure of it.” In the film, Rudd plays a groom-to-be lacking guy friends worthy of his best man title; Segel is the one who wins his affections. "It felt almost criminal how much fun we had," said Jones of her time on set. "There was a lot of male bonding that I got to witness."

“I’ve said, ‘I love you,’ to Paul many times before this movie was made,” Segal said, remembering his turn co-starring with Rudd in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. “So, there’s been a love fest ever since then.” Indeed, the two funnymen seemed practically inseparable at the screening, which drew the likes of Edward Norton, Parker Posey, Steve Buscemi, Becki Newton, and Bee Shaffer. After mentioning that he was wearing a suit by John Varvatos, Segal joked, “I’m not sure what Paul is wearing, I forgot to check. I usually pick out his clothes, to be honest, but tonight he said, ‘I need to be me.’” So, aside from his co-star-cum-lover Rudd, who makes Segel's list of man-crushes? "Barack Obama is up there, but I don’t think that I could ever snag that," he admitted. "He’s so powerful, and I’m just me."

After the film, the chic set decamped to the SoHo Grand penthouse for the after-fête, where partygoers like Charlotte Ronson and Allison Janney sipped their Svedka cocktails and lovebirds Billy Farrell and Lisa Salzer canoodled. Oui, though the Rudd-Segal bromance may have been the night’s center of attention, Love was in the air…
