(NEW YORK) The beauty flack flock turned out in full force at the New Museum Thursday morning for Teen Vogue's Readers' Choice Beauty Awards. Editor in chief Amy Astley, publisher Laura McEwen, and beauty & health director Eva Chen toasted their readers favorite products of 2008 along with industry players like Lancôme's Kerry Diamond, Ralph Lauren's Kate Babb, Shu Uemura's Elizabeth Riley, and Nars Cosmetics' Julia Sloan."Teen Vogue is the cultural catalyst for a new generation of influential teens and young women," said McEwen. Over 100,000 readers cast their (unprompted-no multiple choice here!) votes online. Mini-chicettes voices must be heard! And needless to say, they have very good taste.

M.A.C. and Neutrogena both scored multiple wins, while Marc Jacobs Daisy took home the top perfume honor and Pantene won for best shampoo and best conditioner. No wordy acceptances speeches allowed at this ceremony as Chen announced the winners, with help from four of Teen Vogue's "It Girls" who summed up their endearing love for the mag and its beauty pages. "I loved meeting another four Teen Vogue fans who at the ages of 20, 19, 18, and 16 are so articulate and passionate," exclaimed Chen. "They're going to take over the world!"
