(LONDON) Paris Fashion Week may be over a week away, but Tuesday evening it certainly felt like Paris in Mount Street as chic guests piled into the newest gem on the block: an Azzaro pop-up shop which will be open for the next month. Guests like Plum Sykes and Mrs. B -- Joan Burstein of Browns -- joined Vanessa Seward and Azzaro collaborator Jemima Khan. "This is the most gorgeous party!" one guest was overheard exclaiming, and between the stunning embellished Azzaro pieces and the decadent Laduree macaroon trees, it did feel far more sophisticated than the usual LFW fare. "Mount Street would be my first choice for a store," remarked Khan, who didn't go to any of the shows this week. "I like all of the restaurants -- Scotts, The George. And I love all the shops here like Christian Louboutin." While Khan's collection for Azzaro was hanging on the ground floor, don't expect her to be designing for the label every season. "It was a one-off thing," she smiled.

"It was a dream to open up a store here," gushed Seward. "I'd been talking about it with the owners from Reig Capital about this  from the beginning and it was their dream too. And Jemima loves Mount Street too!"  As for her newest collection, which will be presented during Paris Fashion Week, she gave us a little preview of what we can expect. "I believe in ultra luxury in a moment like this," she explained, referring to the financial crisis. "I wanted to create pieces people couldn't resist." Considering we can't imagine anything more delectable than her current creations, we can't wait to see the results.
