Rosé-Colored Glasses, Studded with Stars

(NEW YORK) The pervasive optimism of Matthew Williamson's clothes and bright new boutique was a welcome addition to this season's lighter schedule of fashionable soirées. The designer arrived with Lindsay Lohan in tow, grinning like a schoolboy in his Margiela tuxedo blazer. "They should stay in trouble. It's more fun," said Williamson of his starlet friends. Mischa Barton, Lily Collins, Katherine McPhee, and Heidi Klum all showed up to sip Veuve Clicquot rosé and gawk at the brightly colored creations.

Lohan and Barton caused a traffic jam in the small store, so the flaks from HL Group managed to create a small VIP area in one of the boutique's small rooms. Perhaps it was the sequins and color, but la Lohan was in a chatty mood. "I love Matthew. His store is so Bianca Jagger. It's fabulous," said the starlet, who had skipped the designer's dinner with Harper's Bazaar the previous evening.

Rachel Zoe arrived with Marc Jacobs' boyfriend Lorenzo Martone. "Everyone is still going to be fighting to get in," said Zoe of the Marc Jacobs show. After doing a lap around the store and chatting up the designer, the stylist made the short trip across the street to Diane von Furstenberg's intimate post-show dinner.
