(NEW YORK) "One of the most endearing things about the Brits--and I can say this, because my mother is one--is their fondness for strangely-flavored potato chips," said Lydia Fenet, pointing to a mini-sized bag of bacon crisps. The snacks in question came courtesy of proud Londoner Anya Hindmarch, who invited a coterie of chicsters to her Meatpacking District showroom for an impromptu quiz night modelled after those thrown in London pubs. Serena Merriman, Kate Schelter, and Carolyn Angel caught up over champagne, white wine, and for the most part, crudités while taking notes about their favorite bags from Hindmarch's newest collection.

Game time! Jessica Joffe and Hud Morgan served as emcees, hurling questions to loosely-assembled teams like Anya's Academics, Chessy [Wilson's] Champions and Poppy [Delevigne's] Professors. "We have absolutely no chance of winning," Hindmarch deadpanned, even though several questions were heavily-weighted in her favor. (Example: Anya Hindmarch has designed First Class amenity kits for which airline?) New York was the final stop on Hindmarch's whirlwind U.S. tour, which included stops in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where she toasted her new boutique in the Shops at the Palazzo. "It's an extremely curious place," Hindmarch said graciously. "But really, the most fun we had was hanging out with the girls. Ashley [Wick] and I had an absolute ball jogging up and down the strip!"

"I mean really," said Delevigne. "Isn't this the best idea for a party, ever?" Unfortunately, her team lost by a very slim margin to Chessy's Champions. The loss stung, but only when the prize was revealed--gift certificates for a few brews down at the Tavern on Jane. But losers found consolation. "Just come to London," winked Hindmarch, "And I'll take you to a real pub!"
