(NEW YORK) Slick, steel gray and powerful while still light and airy, designer Doo Ri Chung explored subtle detailing in her latest collection, focusing on minutiae like slightly asymmetrical collar lines. A metallic color palate grounded the collection...literally. Frocks and tops glittered like cement in the sun as they sailed down the runway. Unexpected bursts of flamingo pink sharpened the collection's softer gray edges. Pearl gray jersey dresses and quilted silk opal dresses exuded high sophistication, while still communicating a sense of relaxation.
