(NEW YORK) Chris Benz is a downtown types go-to for bright clothes, and this season he presented an exuberantly colorful array. Rainbow-sequined jackets, voluminous multi-colored feathered skirts, and playful party dresses inspired by the '80s design movement in Memphis--think southern belle in technicolor. "Every piece is really special in it's own right," said Benz of his magenta blazer, colorful layered skirts, bright dots and sparkle to spare. And it's true: while a girl might not wardrobe herself in the entire collection, a single piece is special enough to give her what she wants--which is a smart move.
