(NEW YORK) U.K. transports Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton's much-anticipated U.S. debut for Preen did not disappoint. Fashion party revelers may have seen Agyness Deyn modeling a Preen outfit at virtually every soirée this week, but the designers still wowed the audience with their mix of cool luxury with just the right touches of sensuality. White and green satin wraps and shirts, parachute pants, and sporty jumpers revealed lace bodysuits and layers of stretchy fabrics which artfully exposed the models' physiques. The cut-out details on bathing suits, shirts, and dresses-both front and back-were spectacularly sexy without any trace of vulgarity. The dresses were tulip-shaped around the hips, with a few very original numbers that covered the chest with only a few strips of fabric, all in tones of gray, blue, olive, and white. This collection showed impressive boldness and sophistication, making Preen one of the season's most exciting young brands.
