Your Summer Plans, Revealed...

The Daily caught up with Lorenzo Martone and Stacey Bendet to find out how they're spending their summer vacations

(NEW YORK) With the real New York summer finally settling in (damn that humidité!), The Daily can't wait to escape to a more tropical locale...or at least, live vicariously through the chicsters jet-setting partout. Alice + olivia's Stacey Bendet and the man you know as Marc Jacobs' other half, Lorenzo Martone, spilled on their summer itineraries...

So, Lorenzo...
Vacation destination?
We have many plans. To start, I went to Venice for the Biennale! Then to Provincetown and get married! Then second part of the summer would be a short week somewhere romantic--either a Greek Island or one of the beaches on the coast of Turkey, like Bodrum...

Weekend plan?
A special place for me is when I'm in good company--my boyfriend, my family or friends. Even the Central Park or a favorite restaurant (mine being currently the Monkey Bar!) can be extra-special if you are with someone you love.

Ideal travel companions?
Marc. Then my best friend Todor Mello. It's the best mix of laughs and conversation!

Pennysaving technique?
Flying commercial?

Current obsessions?
I'm starting to put money aside to buy mid-century furniture for the house!

Summer uniform?
Grey COMMONWEALTH shorts, lots of Marc Jacobs polo shirts, soccer player socks and LV or Lanvin, Alejandro Ingelmo high-top sneakers. I also discovered the brand Osklen during my last trip to Brazil. It also has also a little shop in Soho.

Vacation destination?
New York and Malibu!

Weekend routine?
We try and go out to L.A. most weekends. We usually go to Sun Valley in July and Aspen a couple of times.

Ideal travel companions?
My husband Eric and our daughter Eloise!

What you're buying?
Bright colors! I bought a great Givenchy yellow bag and a pair of black and teal Giuseppe Zanotti platform sandals

What you're not?
Alcohol. Hangovers suck.

Bare necessities?
Alice + olivia tubular leggings and turquoise nail polish.

Guilty pleasure?
High high high shoes, vintage bags, and Olatz bedding.

Summer uniform?
Long summer dresses and the new alice + olivia congo genie pants with tanks.

Style essentials?
Sunblock. The whole lobster look just doesn't work for me.

Seasonal eats?
Vegetarian sushi and fresh smoothies

Summer icon?
Malibu Barbie!

Swimsuit prep plan?
I do ashtanga yoga every morning.
