Get Reel
(LOS ANGELES) Cinematic sisterhood was in the air Tuesday night at the Director's Guild of America as Glamour presented 'Glamour Reel Moments,' a series of short films written by readers and produced by a few of Hollywood's leading ladies. The event, which benefitted FilmAid International, attracted stars including Kirsten Dunst, Lucy Liu, Jennifer Aniston, Rita Wilson, Sheryl Crow, Laura Dern, Brittany Snow, Anna Faris, Willie Garson, David Spade, David Arquette and James van der Beek. This year, Courteney Cox, Demi Moore and Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith made their directorial debuts.
"I loved every second of this whole program! For so many talents to come together to produce such an amazing product is one thing, but for them to also put so much passion into something strictly because they want to see more female directors out there is really special," Moore commented enthusiastically. Can we expect to see more of her work behind the camera? "Let's see how it goes tonight first!" the actress laughed, before being joined by Cox, Wilson and Aniston.
Before the actresses took their seats inside the theater, they couldn't help but dote on each other's impeccable style that evening. "Seriously, are you guys sisters?!" gasped Aniston, comparing Cox and Moore, who wore similarly styled little black dresses and long, flowing hairstyles to match.
As for Wilson's outfit? "I'm mixing old and new tonight," she said. "I brought this Prada lingerie out from the closet from about five years ago and threw a belt on it. I think there's a lot of romantic lace going on in fashion right now, so I'm trying to work it!"
