(NEW YORK) Feathers and sparkles accompanied the works of art at the Frick Collection's annual Young Fellows masquerade gala "Un Ballo in Maschera," hosted by Elie Saab and Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry Thursday night. The designer fawned over his ladies, fixing dresses in between giving out hugs and kisses. "I don't expect it like this! Beautiful girls! Nice dresses! I'm so excited," he beamed. "Ivanka is amazing in my dress." And while his biggest fan was missing last night, her presence was still felt. "I feel like Beyoncé is a very good image for what I do," he noted. "She's the woman that I present. I adore women with curves."

Lydia Fenet was feeling the pressure as the days counted down to the big moment. "There are people calling me that I haven't spoken to in years, begging for a ticket, and I'm just like, 'no! It's to fire code plus 100!'" The mansion was certainly packed to capacity as guests mingled throughout the museum, walking alongside the precarious fountain and the evening's other main attraction, Parmigianino's portrait "Antea," in the Oval Room. While one of the founding chairmen, Lauren duPont, missed the event for her husband's dinner, Byrdie Bell had more than one reason to celebrate. "Welcome to my house!" she exclaimed. "It's my birthday party!"

Maggie Rizer and her boyfriend enjoyed their first experience at the Frick thanks to a Vogue connection, no less. "A friend was telling me about it and Anna Wintour was telling me I should go," she offered. "I wanted to wear Zac Posen but all his gowns were taken." Guests sipped Moët & Chandon champagne and Belvedere Vodka and enjoyed a buffet of Italian delicacies from polenta with wild mushrooms to a selection of Italian cheeses to an entire bruschetta section. Tinsley Mortimer felt like it was her big day all over again, remarking, "I feel like a bride honestly! It's really Halle Berry--but all the dresses look gorgeous on the girls and he's just so sweet!"

Trump, who arrived with beau Jared Kushner, celebrated her gems adorning many a silhouette that evening, including Annelise Peterson, Coralie Charriol Paul, Selita Ebanks, and Susan Shin. "Most of them are my friends so they're always sort of raiding my stash!" she joked. Marina Rust Connor was one of the lucky ones sporting the evening's sponsors hand-in-hand. "I don't even know where you can buy Elie Saab in the city; Bergdorf's?" she asked in jest. "My look tonight? J. Lo, but dignified." It was Barbara Bush who summed the evening up perfectly. "The glitter is my favorite part!"

The festivities didn't start--and end--at the Frick, however. A midnight breakfast followed at a four-story townhouse on Park Avenue, which goes to show that after diamonds and dancing, comes the obligatory dessert.
