London's new sister muses...V-Day at H&M...Plus! Vivienne Westwood's political panties!...

(LONDON) ISSA LOVIN': Even though her show was on Valentine's day, Daniella Helayel remained unfazed. Not only did she pull off an amazing show for her Issa London label, but the ever-gracious hostess threw an intimate Valentine-themed house party afterwards for her posse with tons of candy in large vases, cute love books, card games, and toys scattered all over--the outside was tinted pink in lights and the inside had rose petals and red sexual energy candles all over. Trust a Brazilian to throw a good party.

FASHIONABLE BRIEFS: Who said fashion and politics don't mix? Dame Vivienne Westwood premiered a limited-edition range of bikini-briefs at her Red Label show Thursday night. In collaboration with Agent Provocateur and UK charity Reprieve, the orange bikini briefs--emblazoned with the slogan 'Fair Trial My Arse'--are the designer's statement on the issue of the illegal treatment of prisoners held without trial in Guantanamo Bay. A pair was even given as a gift to the British Prime Minister on Valentine's Day. It seems Dame Westwood hasn't forgotten her old tactics.

SHOES MUSE: We had the Mitford sisters, the Scarry sisters (models and socialites Fiona and Olympia) and the Delevignes (Chloe and Poppy) but now London has found its new muses in the name of Charlotte and Alice Dellal, who have been taking London by storm with their style and famous friends (namely brother and sister Pierre and Charlotte Casiraghi). Daughters of former Brazilian model Andrea Dellal, Charlotte has been designing a footwear label, called Charlotte Olympia--worn by the likes of Sienna Miller and Kate Moss and stocked at 10 Corso Como and Dover Street Market. Alice, on the other hand, prefers to be in front of cameras; she was photographed by Mario Testino for the September issue of French Vogue, modeled at the Vivienne Westwood Red Label show, and has been called a punk version of Jerry Hall--because she shaved the left side of her blonde mane.

A VERY "V" DAY: Shopping and partying! You couldn't ask for a better deal than the Valentine-themed launch party for H&M's new flagship store on London's Regent street, which drew cool kids like Peaches and Pixie Geldof, Kelly Osbourne (looking fab in a slim black Karl Lagerfeld pantsuit), and Kimberly Stewart. Among the shopping frenzied who spread over three floors was fashion heiress and designer Francesca Versace. "I like to buy items to mix and match with my vintage, Balenciaga, and my Francesca V clothes," she explained, referring to her newly launched capsule collection of dresses, skirts, and tops in easy-to-wear linens and cottons. The bargain hunter and H&M fiend "picked up a stripy T-shirt and a nice pair of wedges--I like simple things with a very colorful item or a vintage item." As revelers made a beeline for the amazing buffet of macaroons and exotic fruits, and waited on line to have their Valentine picture taken, everything soon came to a standstill when super producer Mark Ronson took to the stage to perform. Fresh from L.A., where he won a Grammy for Best Producer, he dedicated his mini gig to Amy Winehouse.
