I Resolve To...

New Year's resolutions from those who help you dress

(NEW YORK) The Daily reveals what these six top stylists have on their minds for 2008--other than making us look fabulous, of course.

Mary Alice Stephenson: "My resolution is to spend as much time as possible with my son and to make a difference in the world and to spend less money on Lanvin! And as the fashion ambassador for the Make-A-Wish foundation, I have experience first-hand of how the fashion business positively impacts kids of all ages. The M-A-W teenagers I work with are suffering from life-threatening illnesses. These kids could wish for anything in the world and, time and time again, their wishes are fashion-related. They want to meet a designer, they want to be a model for a day.  It is my goal to work with our industry to make sure that every one of these hundreds of fashion wishes are granted and these kids get to experience the joy and healing power of having a dream come true."

Brana Wolf: "I make and break them all year long so I give it a rest on New Year's. I go to the beach instead and meditate and forgive myself for all my weaknesses! Then I go home and have a double serving of King Island cream on my leftover plum pudding."

Leslie Fremar: "I am going to start wearing my seat belt in taxis!"

Bobette Cohn: "To buy low and sell high. To get a degree in Spin Doctoring. And to always sparkle!"

Jennifer Rade: "I don't really make resolutions cause it just sets up expectations and pressure, which I have enough of on a daily basis from others--I don't need to put that on myself! But this year I did tell myself that I must start going to bed earlier. I stay up way too late, not going out or anything, just up late on the computer looking at stuff. I'm slightly obsessed with late-night Ebaying. Or Ebuying! I'd also like to eat better, maybe have Doritos every other day instead of every day, and exercise at least once in 2008, but that's probably a pipe dream."

Patricia Field: "I do not impose resolutions upon myself. I prefer to take it as it comes. This year I would like to continue my diversified and fortunate professional position that I find myself in."
