Missing Wardrobe Report

(MILAN) Three days into Fashion Week here, and André Leon Talley was sporting the same patent leather Miu Miu coat and velour track pants. "It's Shrek-not Smurf-blue," he said. "And it's definitely not a fashion statement." Turns out the beloved Vogue editor-at-large's luggage was lost en route to Milan from Atlanta. By the Alberta Ferretti show this afternoon at 2 p.m., the luggage still had not arrived-though not for Talley's lack of trying. He had been stationed at the concierge desk at the Four Seasons Hotel every moment possible to track his lost-and undeniably expensive-wares.

Apparently his vigil worked: four of his suitcases were just recovered today. Talley arrived at the Gucci show this evening donning a vintage Chanel couture jacket and size 16E Roger Vivier jeweled flats. When asked about the Miu Miu coat, he replied that it would be "aired out and revived in Paris."
