WHAT: Perrin Paris Spider Gloves
WHY: Now that we've started shopping for fall, it's hard to turn back---and what could be more seasonally-appropriate than gloves? Legendary glove house Perrin (which also makes some lovely bags, by the way) may be known for its ladylike leathers embellished with buttons or bows, but it's this tough pair that caught our eye---and, incidentally, the eyes of Drew Barrymore and Rihanna. No, they may not keep your digits all that cozy come cooler temperatures, but who cares?

WHAT: Nellie Partow Cyrus vest
WHY: It can be hard to start tackling your fall shopping list when the temperatures outside are still sweltering, but with pieces like this landing in stores now, who can wait? Parsons grad and Donna Karan alum Nellie Partow is launching her first full collection for Fall 2010, and this shearling vest has earned a spot on our must-have list. Topping a cozy sweater, jeans, boots...you never thought we'd be hoping for winter weather again, did you?

WHAT: Noir stained glass bib necklace
WHY: You may recognize this gorgeous neckpiece from a little summer movie called Sex and The City 2 (Samantha sports it to Smith Jared's premiere), but today, it has an entirely new role. Noir designer Leeora Catalan has decided to auction off the one-of-a-kind necklace, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Maimonides Infants & Children's Hospital of Brooklyn, which helps support the emotional, social and developmental needs of children experiencing stress due to illness, hospitalization and medical treatment. The retail price of the treasure is $1,500, but the bidding starts at $250. Bonne chance, darlings! P.S. If you don't win, may we suggest one of these consolation prizes?
PRICE: Bidding starts at $250

WHAT: Blue&Cream Lamptons sunglasses
WHY: Lounging in the Hamptons. We've all done it, but who knew it had its own name? (We can apparently thank Jay-Z for that.) Blue&Cream, which naturally operates an outpost in East Hampton in addition to the shop on the Bowery, has pinched the term for its private label line of sunglasses—created in collaboration with shade maven Linda Farrow—and the result is perfect for a weekend of...lamping.
